A place to explore games in depth...
The Congress of Vienna 1814-1815 was one of the most significant events in diplomatic history: the conferences established a balance of power that discouraged the outbreak of a general war in Europe for the next century. Inspired by GMT's popular Churchilll: Big Three Struggle for Peace in Congress of Vienna the great powers of Europe attempt to achieve a political settlement in the waning years of the Napoleonic Wars. While the wars are in the background this game is about the negotiations.
New players are welcome to join the playtest sessions. Play might continue into a subsequent session. A VASSAL module has also been created. Mark Herman, the designer of Churchill, is an adviser on this project. Contact Nathan Geiser, who is coordinating playtesting at MSG, for further details.
